One more time I get to meet baby Philip. I already photographed him and his family a few months ago while he was staying in the hospital and waited for his heart surgery. You can find a little reminder of his story here.

This time around we wanted to show how his incredible story continued and how well baby Philip is doing after his open-heart surgery.
Once baby Philip was released from the hospital and all the scars were healed, we headed out to one of the most beautiful reserves in San Diego, Los Penasquitos Canyon, to photograph this happy family.

A little more about baby Philip.
After his second open heart surgery, he is doing very well. He is off of oxygen and can play with his sisters and enjoy his life like any other baby. Just look at his rosy and chubby cheeks! By the time of the session, baby Philip was 6 months old and hit his sitting milestone.

It’s hard not to notice how big sisters adore their little brother and parents are so happy to see their joyful kids.
After everything that this family went through, it’s just amazing to see them staying strong and having a great spirit!
It was an amazing family session and I can’t wait to see baby Philip grow happy and healthy.
