Family sessions with several kids could be quite a challenge for every photographer, no matter how experienced the photographer is. I’m not gonna lie that I was a little nervous going into this family session with three kids.

[spacer height=”20px”] We met on the parking lot of beautiful Los Penasquitos Canyon and these girls won my heart instantly! I just felt like I knew them forever and we started chatting so easily like we see each other at dinner every day. And this is when I relaxed and already knew that our family photos will be great.

Girls were seriously adorable. They expressed so much excitement about our session and that is all I need to be inspired!

Usually, with infants I have about 10 minutes of their attention, so I have to use these 10 minutes wisely and take a nice family picture first. I wanted to make sure we get it done before kids are tired. However, two big sisters had tons of energy for the rest of their family pictures.

Their fun and bubbly personalities were shining through.

Baby girl was super adorable and I really enjoyed photographing her, however, my favorite moment ever from the session was when two big sisters were telling each other a secret. They were not only trying to be quiet about their “secret”, but they were pretty loud about it.  In fact, I stopped for a second to enjoy the scene. The truth is they were arguing!!!! Yes. you heard that right!!!  They were telling each other “I love you”, “I love you more”. ” No!!! I love you more!!! “. Isn’t it the most adorable argument ever?

( Seriously, when my girls grow up I want them to argue about the same things 🙂

And just look at that screaming picture :)!!! LOL! This was my second favorite moment from the session. You know why? Because years later, when they look at this picture I’m sure it will cause a great laugh for the whole family.

Of course, towards the end of the session, we took some time for parent’s pictures!
